Hanging

Description

Being strong means optimally working your body system as a whole. It doesn’t mean “one muscle is strong” (in fact focusing on just one muscle mostly leads to weakening other important players in the movement coordination team). But being strong is when the whole system is strong together. It’s when you give space to your joints, and to responding to the moment of gravity in time. Moving one muscle moves every muscle, moving one thing moves every thing. And so you let your body figure out the communicating as you explore the strength of hanging. Practice this with an actual object such as a pendulum, and you will know straight away where your axis hangs, literally. And simply let yourself hang out with it.
